For Resurfacing Scotland, I designed and developed a completely bespoke WordPress website from the ground up, tailored specifically to the company’s branding, services, and business objectives. Rather than relying on a pre-built template, I created a custom WordPress theme to ensure the site was unique, optimised for performance, and provided an excellent user experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
As part of the project, I also designed a custom logo that reflected the company’s professional image and established a strong visual identity. The branding was then carried consistently throughout the website, incorporating carefully selected typography, colours, and design elements to create a modern and trustworthy online presence that resonates with potential customers.
The website features a range of bespoke pages built specifically around the company’s services and customer journey. Each page was carefully structured to improve usability, showcase key information, and encourage enquiries. Custom layouts and flexible content sections were developed to give the business complete control over how information is presented while maintaining a consistent and professional design throughout the site.
To make website management simple for the client, I implemented Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), enabling content to be easily updated without any technical knowledge. Custom fields were created for key areas of the website, allowing the owner and administrators to manage content directly through the WordPress dashboard. This provides a user-friendly experience, ensuring the website can be maintained and updated efficiently as the business grows.
